Data Collection

We only collect the information you provide when creating an account:

• First Name and Last Name
• Email Address
• Phone Number
• Password (stored as encrypted hash)
• House data you save (addresses, features, notes, photos, scores)

This information is used solely to maintain your login session and store your house searches. Anonymous users' data is stored locally in their browser only.

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely in our database with the following protections:

• Passwords are hashed using SHA-256 encryption
• Data is only accessible to you when logged in with your credentials
• Each user's houses are isolated and cannot be accessed by other users
• Database is stored in persistent volumes with regular backups

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• RapidAPI "Realty in US": Used to auto-populate property information when you use the Auto-Fill feature. This service is only accessible to logged-in users. We send only the property address to this service.
• Tailwind CSS CDN: Used for styling the website interface.

We do not share your personal information (name, email, phone) with these services.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data is kept private and confidential.

Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser local storage to:

• Store your user ID for session management
• Cache your login information to keep you logged in
• Store houses locally for anonymous users

No tracking cookies or analytics are used on this site.

Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access: You can view all your stored houses at any time when logged in
• Deletion: You can delete individual houses or clear all houses using the interface
• Account Deletion: You can request complete account deletion by contacting us
• Data Export: Your house data is visible in the interface and can be manually exported

Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, including:

• Encrypted password storage
• Secure database connections
• User-specific data isolation
• Regular security updates

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

This service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
